Who we are
Boxing Vision is a business management platform for boxing coaches, operated from the Netherlands. Until formal registration is completed, the service is operated by Loic Villepinte de Mercey on behalf of Boxing Vision.
What data we collect
We collect and process the following personal data:
- Account data: email address, username, hashed password
- Profile data: name, phone number (optional), display name
- Fighter data: fighter names, session history, training notes, session credits
- Video data: training videos uploaded by coaches, associated thumbnails and metadata
- Payment data: session ledger entries and payment status. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details directly.
- Usage data: page visits, feature usage, device type, collected via PostHog (EU-hosted)
Why we collect it
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Service delivery: managing your account, scheduling sessions, storing training videos, tracking fighter progress
- Billing: tracking session credits, generating payment requests
- Product improvement: understanding usage patterns to improve the platform
- Communication: transactional emails (session summaries, password resets, account notifications)
Legal basis (GDPR)
- Contract: processing necessary to provide the Boxing Vision service you signed up for (Article 6(1)(b))
- Legitimate interest: analytics and product improvement, provided your rights are not overridden (Article 6(1)(f))
Where your data is stored
- Application & database: Render (EU region)
- Video storage: Amazon Web Services S3 (eu-north-1, Stockholm)
- Email: Postmark (transactional emails only)
- Analytics: PostHog (EU-hosted instance)
All data transfers are encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
How long we keep it
- Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion
- Training videos: retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion or upon request
- Usage analytics: anonymised and retained for up to 12 months
- Payment records: retained for 7 years as required by Dutch tax law
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis

Cookies and tracking
Boxing Vision uses essential session cookies required for authentication. We use PostHog for product analytics, hosted in the EU. We do not use advertising cookies or share data with third-party advertisers.
Third-party data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers listed above (Render, AWS, Postmark, PostHog), strictly for service delivery purposes. Each provider is bound by their own data processing agreements.
Children
Boxing Vision is not intended for use by individuals under 16. If fighter data concerns a minor, we require that it is entered and managed by a parent, guardian, or authorised coach.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
